Gonzalo Cordova is a South Florida native of Ecuadorian descent who moved to the United States with his family when he was six-years-old. After graduating with a BFA in film from Emerson College, he moved to New York City where he developed his writing and directing skills from eight years of creating stand-up, sketch, and comedic plays.
Gonzalo currently lives and works in Los Angeles as a television writer. His credits include Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Academy Awards (2017 and 2018), Adam Ruins Everything, Tuca & Bertie, and Undone.
He is the creator of the upcoming Adult Swim animated series Women Wearing Shoulder Pads, as well as the co-creator of Edith! and the writer and director of Brandi Finds God.
